Photo Session featuring Daniyell Brianne

daniyell17

A social butterfly. A beauty queen. Daniyell Brianne (aka Daniyell the Unicorn) never claims to be a profession model yet she has won two InstaGrammys because of the stunning photos she regularly posts. This year she is up for Snapchat’s influencer award that will be hosted at Intrigue Night Club on September 29th.

Daniyell is a native to Las Vegas and was given her nickname due to her obsession with unicorns. She currently works as a hair stylist at Las Vegas’ first DryBar salon. Last week, I had the pleasure of shooting with her and got to know the badass social media queen a little better. Also big thanks to Tasha Montano for doing the amazing makeup for the shoot.

Maui Highlights: Hana Road

05060008

After our trip to Oahu, my mom, boyfriend and I jumped on a plane to Maui. Since we only had one full day to enjoy the island we were lucky enough to get advice from the locals on what to do. So we chose to do Hana Highway which takes you around the prime spots on the island. The best part is that you can do a self-guided tour and chose to stop off anywhere you want. I only wish I had more time to explore Maui. I guess there’s always next time.

Watch us get crushed by some massive waves! LOL.

New Video: Oahu Highlights

During my family trip to Hawaii, I wanted to test out how well the iPhone 6s captured video as well as put together a memento we could all look back at. So here are the highlights of our trip mashed up into a small video. Overall, I think the quality of the video from the iPhone was better than I anticipated. Let me know what you guys think.

Artist Spotlight with Eric Vozzola

Meet Eric Vozzola! An accomplished artist, graphic designer, muralist and human being trying to find his own language through his art. After a year of preparation, Vozzola exhibited his second solo art show “A Visual Language” at the Winchester Gallery in Las Vegas.

Vozzola began developing his exhibit by fusing the ideas of vast landscapes he’s traveled and cryptic language inspired by hieroglyphs, petroglyphs, and cave wall drawings. “I wanted to fill a space with images that were somewhat cryptic and ornamental on the surface, but held deeper meaning underneath, allowing the viewer to interpret it as they wish” said Vozzola.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Vozzola graduated UNLV with a BFA in graphic design and studio art. He has worked on murals for the Life is Beautiful Music Festival as well as other miscellaneous projects Downtown. He is a part of the design team at The Venetian Las Vegas and a freelance graphic designer.

I interviewed Eric before the opening reception to find out a little more about “A Visual Language.”
